The name ‘Kenean’ is a Tigrinya translation for CANNAN—derived from the Bible, signifying the land of Milk and Honey. We chose this name to reflect our commitment to cultivating fruitful endeavors It is a company with 22 shareholders. Leading the way are 5 board members. From the outset, our vision for this company has been to create impactful work and contribute to creating a better world by caring for those in deep need of it.

These board members play pivotal roles and carry major responsibilities, such as making strategic decisions, crafting policies, managing finances, overseeing hiring, evaluating the quality of care for individuals, and working on improving performance.

At our company, we pride ourselves on our staff’s extensive training and experience in caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our team is rigorously trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Medication Administration, ensuring they can handle any situation. With years of hands-on experience, they provide the highest standard of care, continually updated through Relias trainings mandated by the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD) and regular refresher courses. When you entrust your loved one’s care to us, you place them in skilled, compassionate, and dedicated hands. Currently, our team includes 10 trained direct support professionals, in addition to our leadership team.
